About Tejuosho
Over five decades of trade, community and growth in the heart of Yaba.
Our History
From open market to Lagos institution
Tejuosho Shopping Complex traces its roots back to the early 1970s, when traders in Yaba gathered in an open-air market to sell fabrics, food and household goods. What began as a neighbourhood trading post rapidly grew in scale and reputation.
By the 1990s, the complex had been formally developed into a structured multi-storey market — giving traders permanent stalls and giving shoppers a safe, organised environment. Today, it stands as one of the most recognised shopping destinations in Lagos State.
Every renovation and expansion has been guided by one principle: to serve the people of Lagos better.
